Following my grandmother's secret recipe and classic techniques, you will also master the art of crafting a rich, creamy Italian Tiramisù—the perfect reward after walking up the village stairs to my kitchen!
This exclusive culinary experience takes place right in the village center, inside an authentic 16th-century private house. After the workshop, you can step out onto our 3rd-floor roof terrace to enjoy a stunning, panoramic view of the sea and the village. From here, you can appreciate the unique landscape of the colored tower-houses built along the steep hills, offering a fantastic glance that defines the true essence of the Cinque Terre.
Experience Itinerary: What We Will Do
After a short walk up the characteristic village steps, you will be welcomed by me and my dog, Ettore. With a warm greeting, we will gather around the prepared tables to begin our hands-on culinary journey.
Step 1: Crafting the Perfect Italian Tiramisù
We start by preparing the ultimate traditional Tiramisù from scratch. Using just five fresh ingredients, you will learn the secrets to achieving the perfect creamy texture. It is a simple yet precise technique that you can easily replicate at home!
Step 2: Making Authentic Pesto Genovese
Next, you will discover how to make the most fragrant Pesto Genovese you have ever tasted. We will balance seven traditional ingredients to create this world-famous Ligurian condiment, mastering the authentic local method.
Step 3: The Art of Handmade Trofie Pasta
Ready for a fun culinary challenge? You will learn the secret art of making Trofie, our local treasure. This traditional Ligurian pasta is handmade using just three simple ingredients. It takes a little practice, but shaping them is half the fun!
Step 4: Tasting & Local Wine Pairing
Finally, the best part! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the delicious dishes you prepared. We will share a convivial meal, paired with a refreshing glass of local Ligurian white wine, enjoying great conversation and a relaxed vibe with fellow travelers.
THE EXPERIENCE INCLUDES
